PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION IN CHINA · SINCE 2015

Pre-shipment inspection on every order, before it leaves the factory.

ENA Co., Ltd. arranges a third-party pre-shipment inspection at the factory once production is finished and packed, before the balance is paid and before anything ships. An independent inspector checks your goods to international inspection standards and sends a photo report with counts, defects found and a clear pass or fail, so problems are fixed in China, not in your warehouse. Every order ENA manages includes one pre-shipment inspection; in-production checks are available on request.

WHAT WE CHECK BEFORE SHIPPING

Eight checks before your goods leave the factory.

01

Quantity and packing list

Carton count, units per carton and the packing list matched to your purchase order.

02

Random sampling

Samples pulled from across the lot by an independent inspector, not the top cartons the factory sets aside, using the international AQL sampling standard (ISO 2859-1).

03

Workmanship

Stitching, finish, color, surface defects and assembly checked against your approved sample.

04

Function and safety

Products switched on, opened, closed, filled or worn as a customer would, with failures recorded.

05

Measurements and weight

Key dimensions, weight and sizes measured against the spec sheet.

06

Packaging and labels

Retail packaging, inserts, barcodes, carton markings and shipping marks checked for your market.

07

Photo report

A same-day third-party report with photos of every check, defects classified as critical, major or minor, and a pass or fail.

08

Fix before release

If the lot fails, we hold the shipment, agree the rework with the factory and re-inspect before you pay the balance.

FAQ ABOUT PRE-SHIPMENT INSPECTION

Questions buyers ask about inspection

Is pre-shipment inspection included in ENA's service?

Yes. Every order ENA manages includes one third-party pre-shipment inspection at the factory before the goods ship. It is part of the sourcing fee, not an extra line.

When does the inspection happen?

When production is 100% finished and at least 80% packed, before the balance payment and before the goods are booked for shipping. To vet a supplier before you order, read our 9-step factory checklist.

What is the difference between an inspection and a factory audit?

An inspection checks the goods after they are made. A factory audit checks the factory itself before you order. Audits are done on request or when our team has doubts about a supplier.

Do you check production while it is running?

In-production quality control is available on request, usually when a product is new, the order is large or the factory is new to you. It costs extra because it needs a separate visit.

What happens if the goods fail?

We hold the shipment, send you the report, agree the rework or replacement with the factory and re-inspect. Your balance payment is not released until the lot passes.

What sampling standard do you use?

The inspection is carried out by an independent third-party inspection company to the international AQL sampling standard (ISO 2859-1), with samples taken from cartons across the lot. It is a statistical sample, not a 100% unit-by-unit check.

Can you inspect an order I placed without ENA?

Yes. Send the factory name, address, your purchase order and approved sample, and we will arrange a third-party inspection and quote it on its own.
