Every shipment we manage is inspected before it leaves; a factory audit is added when you ask for one, or when our own team is not comfortable with a supplier.

We match the license, registered address and legal name to the quote you received, so you know you are dealing with the factory, not a trading company.

We confirm the production line for your product is on site. Many factories on Alibaba are showrooms for someone else's plant.

Capacity and lead time
Line count, workers, shifts and current order load, so the promised lead time is realistic.

Equipment and tooling
Machines, molds and test equipment relevant to your product, with photos and condition noted.

Quality system
Incoming material checks, in-line QC, final inspection records and how defects are handled.

Past export markets, shipping documents and any certifications they can actually show, not just claim.

Dormitories, fire exits, working hours and basic compliance a retail buyer will ask about.

Questions buyers ask about factory audits
Why audit a factory in China before ordering?
Because the biggest sourcing losses come from paying a deposit to a supplier that cannot make what it promised. A one-day visit costs far less than a failed production run or a shipment that never arrives.
What is the difference between a factory audit and an inspection?
An audit checks the factory itself before you order: license, capacity, equipment and quality system. An inspection checks the goods after they are made. Every order ENA manages includes a pre-shipment inspection. A factory audit is done on request, or when our sourcing team has doubts about a supplier and wants to see it before your deposit goes out. Where in China do you audit?
Mainly Guangdong (Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan), plus Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Fujian. Ask us about other provinces.
How long does a factory audit take?
Usually one working day on site. You receive the photo report within two to three working days of the visit.
Can you audit a factory I already found on Alibaba?
Yes. Send us the supplier name, address and the quote you received. We verify the license and visit the site, whether or not you source through ENA afterwards.
Do you check social compliance and working conditions?
We cover the basics a retail buyer needs: working hours, dormitories, fire safety and child labor. For a full accredited social audit such as BSCI or SMETA we can arrange a third-party auditor.
How much does a factory audit cost?
At cost. We charge the actual travel and audit-day expenses with no agency markup, which is why our audits come in well below typical third-party audit fees. Send the factory location and we will quote the exact figure.
